About Us

The Northern Rivers Bushwalkers Club runs a variety of bushwalking, cycling, kayaking and abseiling activities each week in the National Parks, State Forests and coastal areas of the NSW North Coast Region, and beyond. There are also regular Qigong sessions held online using Zoom, and social activities throughout the year.

We are located in the NSW Northern Rivers region, which covers an area around Lismore, South and East to the coast, and North to the Queensland border. Here is a Google Map of the area. The Club is affiliated with Bushwalking NSW and has been organising regular activities since 1976.

The club puts on a wide variety of activities including bushwalking from easy grades through to pack walks. Car camps and weeks away to various parts of Australia and overseas happen regularly. Cycling, Kayaking and Abseiling activities regularly appear in the Events program.
